Through a sponsorship from the UWF College of Business’s Center for Entrepreneurship, junior mechanical engineering major, Samantha Brown, and senior computer science major, Christian Um Kaman recently participated in the 2019 Future of Florida Summit, where this year’s topic was Technology and Public Policy.
Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) personnel often have no way to efficiently collect, share or search for information about recent external engagements, or projects, for appropriate stakeholders within the command. The teams within AFSOC currently relay project engagement reports through a variety of disparate media. Additionally, senior leaders within AFSOC struggle to keep abreast of ongoing projects and information collected from engagements.

Annually, the University of West Florida runs an event called “CodeFest”. The idea behind the event is teams of 5 to 6 individuals generate an end-user experience on a topic and idea of your choosing related to the theme of the year.
